Radial Poster 1

Here's my first attempt at a radial poster layout. I've found that doing posters horizontally is much easier with this grid system. It lends itself to readability. I used a splatter brush to create the effects on the left with pure magenta. The backings of the white letters are pure cyan and yellow. Please let me know what you'd change!

Type Posters, Week 1

Here's my two type posters. I don't have much to say about them. The second one might look weird, but that's because it has such thin lines. Not because it's terrible.


But it might be terrible.

I ran across this great site for lovers of typography a few weeks ago and I've been following pretty closely since. It's called 300&65 Ampersands. The blogger posts one new ampersands every day, with a link to the foundry so you can buy it if you'd like to. Here's a few of my favorites:







I'd love to see these made into a day calendar or a wall poster. They're fantastic.
